Since retiring I now have the time to fulfil my every dream. I get very excited with the results of experimenting with new rendering techniques, combined with mixed media, collage, stitch, and hand made paper. I also, get great satifaction from beading, and jewellery making. These projects usually only take a few hours and make great presents for friends. My other interest is my garden which is always in need of attention. Everthing has been on hold for the past 2 years, because the downstairs area of the house was being renovated to accomodate my studio. Thanks to the efforts of my husband, Fred, I'm able to get back to what I enjoy doing my craftwork!!!
Dear Fleur I don't think your creations should be called 'bling'. They are far too superior and artistic so don't put your creations into the 'tat' category. I think childhood is one of the best times of your life where we saw everything in simplicity. Isn't it great that we can still appreciate the small things of life that remind us of our childhood?
